Utah, this is the place 4 me!

Utah...... this is the place.
I often think these words whenever I visit 'home'. Living in Georgia for the past ah-hem 21 years, I still have the feeling of comfort and peace that bekons me to return. Of course, it is still my goal to come home one day. Hopefully sooner than later. Until then, I will relish the times I spend with family and friends and gaze at the photos taken to remind me of where I want to be. This pic of Kaylee was taken the day we visited Temple Square. I thought it was important for her to see the Temple. She hasn't had the opportunities I had to grow up in the Church, and I thought she would love seeing the Temple with her own eyes. I think she really enjoyed herself alot.
Full moon rising. Dad, JD, Mom, Katie and I spent an evening watching the moon rise over the mountain to the East of Mona.... I can't remember the last moon I saw come up 'over the mountain'..... here in Ga, it is already high in the sky before you can see it. (because of all the trees)

this pic of Mom and Dad was taken at Lagoon. They have both lost a lot of weight, and they look too cute for words! Check out Mom's overalls..... Dad has wanted her to get a pair for a long time.... I was able to talk her into it! heeheheee.....

This is a night shot of the Heber Creeper. Both Dad and I have been practicing our night photography skills lately. This shot paid off...

We rode the Creeper on the 24th for "Fiddlers and Fireworks". I LOVED it!!!

Here is a shot of Mom, Dad and new daddy, JD.... hard to believe my baby brother has a baby of his own!

Barn shot taken from the train. I wanna live here!

Park City was nice to visit, also. I haven't been up there since I was a child... too long ago!

Of course, you can't leave the canyon without a pic of Bridal Veil Falls! This was taken from the car going about 50mph, so it might look a bit fuzzy, but if you know Utah, you can imagine how pretty it is! Definately a place to bring my hubby when we finally make the move!

Of course, there are always rainbows in Utah.... even when there are fires! Yes, that is smoke from the Salt Creek canyon fire with a rainbow over it. I took this one from Mom and Dad's driveway. This gives you an idea of how close the fire was to Nephi and Mona.

This is Mom and Dad's house. Totally paid for with the money from the sale of the house in Cali... I am soooo grateful they are out of there! Now, I have a place to come if... no, WHEN I leave Georgia!!!
